People join MAC with a diverse range of backgrounds and experience.  At the time of joining, individual development needs are assessed against our “Success at MAC” competency framework and a Personal Development Plan is drawn up accordingly. 

This plan will typically include our in-house workshops, which aim to equip people with the core consulting and project management fundamentals necessary for success in our business. 

Attendance of external conferences and training is further encouraged. Ultimately, however, the bulk of the individual’s learning is from colleagues and by experience on client projects.
