MAC and Exxaro prepare to present at SIOPSA

The SIOPSA annual conference is an esteemed event in the field of Industrial Psychology. Industrial Psychologists from all over South Africa and even international countries flock to this prestigious event to get clued up on the latest and greatest in the field. We are pleased to report that the submission made by Henriette Rieger and Lomé Koekemoer to present a case study at the upcoming conference has been accepted. The duo will be presenting the case study in conjunction with Exxaro Grootegeluk Medupi Expansion Project (GMEP) General Manager, Joe Meyer.

The Case study will focus on the best practices that were employed by the Leadership Development (LD) team within the Exxaro Grootegeluk Medupi Expansion Project, with specific reference to the team alignment and optimisation activities that were applied. The objective of the GMEP LD project was to provide the GMEP Team with appropriate individual, team and leadership skills and insights to enhance their ability to deliver on key project milestones, and the case study will therefore aim to elaborate on how the team achieved this objective during the Detail Design Phase of the Project. The conference will be taking place on the 29th and 30th of July at the Venue, Bryanston.
